I really must admit, I’m loving this new layout.
So, I was doodling, practicing drawing, and I drew this picture of Kelly in her, er, natural state. That is, pissed off, not nekkid. The body portion was an afterthought, and this really started as a practice sketch which I “inked” and colored to continue the practice. There are flaws with it, but I figured I’d share anyway. This is the kind of thing that will go in the member’s section, once we get that up and running.
I love seeing all the new Gravatars y’all are choosing.

You know, I think Barbie deserves a girl like Dhart much more than Kelly, despite both their histories. Dhart would keep him in line, Kelly just seems like she’s been swindled into a dating relationship.

If Farva calls that doodling, I think the people using the Hubble Space Telescope are just calling their work “just takin’ pictures for fun.” That’s damn good. Are you familiar with the works of Alberto Vargas?

I had a stalker back in highschool who use to put notes in my car (at my apartment) and sit in her car in the parking lot waiting for me to read it… even though she lived well over an hour away.
Why did I tell that story? Guess it was the hair doll comment.

Ex-Ex – Did you realize that your name is almost a STS by itself when you came up with it? Or was that just a fluke?
I’m not sure what you mean by STS, but I’ve been out of the AF for several years and I’ve forgotten a lot of acronyms. I use it because when I was on active duty I was a KC-10A Extender crew chief. Thus, I was an “Extender Mender”, and now I’m an “Ex-Extender Mender”.

Ahhh… that. You know, in the time I spent in the Air Force I never once heard anyone say that the way it’s used here. Out on the flightline, nobody ever bothered covering up rude statements. They were just a part of working in that environment (a far different one from that of our pilots, I’m sure). Simply put: I’d never heard of the whole so-to-speak thing until I began reading this comic.
God i know that feeling. TDY’s can cause nothing but hell.

And yeah, hair dolls = creepy… and if you aren’t careful, and depending on the maker of said hair doll… could easily be utilized as a voodoo doll

I remember Barbie losing the hair on top his head when deployed, but not anywhere else. I also now he didn’t take the pill from Badger Ops to start growing hair again. So unless he shaves certin areas of his body he might still have some hair to be shaved.
I really like how clean the new site is…makes the toons and gravatars (colors) pop right out!

No, I think she’s going to make a new one, just not of Barbie’s hair (as he doesn’t have any). There is someone in the situation with plenty, though.
Only issue I’d have to say is that with the old page, the new posts were at the bottom. With this new system, I have to scroll thru everything to find the new posts as some of them may be replies. But I like having the replies tied to the parent post.
