Hope everyone had a great 4th! At the fireworks show at RAF Feltwell, I actually had half an artillery shell fall on me. No bullshit – I saved it.
For those of you looking for last week’s Box D Blues, stand by just a bit. I’m on leave, and there may have been some confusion as far as who was supposed to load that this past week. We’ll get it up (STS) as soon as possible.

Fucking. Ouch.
Just another normal weekend here at Geilenkirchen. At work now, and in blues no less. And yet I do not care; German holiday schedule gives us about five extra days off in the year. Just spent my 4th of July weekend watching The Netherlands jam down Brazil, and the next day I watched Germany completely humiliate Maradona and his fellow Argentinians. All in all, a very wonderful sight to see, and easily made up for not getting a four day weekend.
Should be pretty funny to celebrate the Independance Day in UK…

Just PCS’d from Nellis and wanted to give my son a half descent first 4th of July, so we bought pretty fireworks not the scary loud fireworks and tried to have a BBQ. (Entire career has been in a desert or another) So when the forecast said 30% chance of rain I didn’t think anything of it, well long story short, torrential down pour, no fireworks, I’m soaked, baby is crying, momma isn’t happy, and no BBQ. Happy 4th of July pizza hut, at least the dogs enjoyed some steaks.
Farva how does that go celebrating the 4th of July in the UK isn’t that kind of oxymoronic?
Please say that Coffman gets to wear an eye patch for a while! Oh the hilarity that will ensue!

The missle in Coffman’s eye looks suspiciouslly like the one Barbie is showing Leia in the MO strip.
Different tailfins and maybe a smaller diameter… does lt Willows still have that diameter gauge?
Be glad the missile went to the eyehole instead of the bunghole.
Farva, the wife and I were sitting at the edge of where the grass gets tall. We ended up having to put our sunglasses on, not because the fireworks were that bright, but because when the wind changed 10min in, it was just ash and debris all over the place. We kept a piece of shell that landed next to our chairs.
