Personally I just jack them from legit sites using a firefox add-on but some use frostwire and others have certain ways

Sorry, not really a fan of Taylor. I think I’d take Miranda Lambert over Taylor, but there is still no substitution for Reba. She can sing, she looks good, and best of all, she’s a redhead. Nuf said……………..

All of her songs kind of sound the same to me, lyrically and musically. With most artists I like to think I could name their individual songs, hers are just one big blur.
But as with any other artist who is *everywhere* to the point of annoyance, I guess we could all find something to complain about….
and, what timing… Taylor on Letterman tonight. Must say.. not impressed.

Not gunna lie, I’ve bought a CD before because the girls in the band were hot(Lillix). I also used to have a huge crush on Avril Lavigne. She did it for me. I couldn’t help it.

Taylor started out decent. I even got to have my picture with her in ’06 when she opened for George Strait in her home town of Hershey, PA. But she’s just gotten way too pop for my tastes. Country music has been sliding downhill for years; when Taylor gets played on pop stations alongside of Lady Gag-me, you know that she’s not country. True country would be Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, or John Anderson. Instead the radio today plays junk like Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Shedaisy, or Rascal Flatts. Taylor has gone from having some okay songs (“Tim McGraw” was a decent one), to being just one more reason why I ignore the radio and stick to my bluegrass CDs.
That’s why i find the classic country stations where ever I go. I love the old country.
Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, or John Anerson are what I would call “Honky-tonk” performers. Don’t get me wrong I think they are GREAT anad I love their music. To me “Bluegrass” music is country, with a “gospel” as a sub-category. IMHO
I must agree… for me the change to stupid songs like the ones Big and Rich put out made me go away from country for a while :S

My teenage son in the past has tried to learn to play her songs on his guitar for his girl friend as she loved her music. But as soon as they broke up, he hates even hearing her songs on the radio now. Says her voice makes his skin crawl. The things we men will do or put up with for women.
As long as I don’t hear any crazy-teen-pop songs, I’m good.

Got to hear Taylor a couple of years ago at a free concert at Fort Campbell. Even tho it was free, I felt like I got cheated. She’s one of those performers who may sound ok with a multi-million dollar studio recording her, but as a live performer, no dice. As a songwriter, she has ideas. Sadly, like Gwen Stefani from “No Doubt” she can make 2 albums from one breakup! On the flip side, I did see the CSI episode she was in and she is a decent actor.
Unfortunately RMELIFR, there are alot of singers that way. I liked taylor until she got all “poppy” with her music. Cant stand that bubble gum crap. Heard this new chick on the radio, Alexa Ray Joel (notice me), made my ears wanna bleed.
This just brings back memories of ’98 or ’99 when Ms Spears hit it big with her first music video. At work a bunch of 30 somethings E’s and O’s watching the video and trying to figure out if we should go turn ourselves into Social Actions for being perverts. Easy on the eyes, not so much on the ears.
