For the sake of artistic license, I’m just going to say all the enlisted Airmen in the 809th are helping with a FOD walk today and that’s why they’re not wearing Blues.
My weekend was, much like (the comic) SSgt Coffman’s, pretty crappy. I won’t bore you with details, but I can’t decide if I need a little more weekend or if I’m ready for the week to start so I can try it again in five days.
Luckily, I don’t have an option, so the choice is easy. The last thing I want to do at the moment is think.

I sat at clothing sales for 45 minutes, trying to match my ABUs. Finally get two that match, get them home, wash them and my pants are lighter (significantly) than the blouse. Annoys the hell out of me.

Ouch.. I resemble that remark. I do my best to ensure Government procurement maintains it’s integrity and gets the best value… but I don’t do supply buys; so my conscious is clean.
Keep in mind, Max got issued his stuff at BMT, and they NEVER get sizes correctly…

I guess you have to know what *really* motivates a young airman. In my last outfit, there weren’t enough hottie LTs to go around. The ideal motivator to get coffee going is a hardlining Staff or Tech who insists that doing so would be in the best interest of your career! And of course, I’m sure that any hottie LT would appreciate such motivated airmen, even if it is other “motivations”.
Does the air force have aerial refueling for coffee too? After all coffee is essential for operating aircraft, isn’t it?
