Ok, so the deal was a bonus comic following every day in which we raise $200 or more for Operation Christmas Stocking (see below). Here’s the first of those reward strips, because y’all came through in a big way yesterday! In fact, you’ve already given more than 1/5 of what we raised last year, and it’s only day one!
Here’s a quick update:
As mentioned yesterday, AFBlues aircraft models will be available for purchase during this limited time, and a portion of the proceeds for each sale goes to Operation Christmas Stocking. These models will include:
809th FS F-15
809th FS F-22
968th AWACS E-3
Badger Ops/13th Test Wing F-117
816th ASS MQ-9
711th AS C-130
But that’s not all. Not by a long shot. The truth of it is ANY aircraft model ordered during this fundraiser will have a portion of its proceeds donated to the cause. So if you don’t want an AFBlues model, don’t worry – just get what you want. And if you don’t want a full-size one, the miniature versions carry the same deal. More info will be available on eSnacko’s website by early next week.
And then there’s the coin. The Operation Christmas Stocking 2010 coin is in the final stage of design, and will go to anyone who contributes $20 or more to this fundraiser. I’ll share the final design soon, but it does feature this special pinup:
These coins will also be included in any plane order, and will be sent from Florida so you won’t have to wait for them to arrive in England and then get sent back.
So, with that said, the donate link is below (I’m making a better, more prominent one) – let’s see if there will be a strip on Sunday!
Thanks to everyone who has already contributed!
-Farva

Just dropped in a donation!!
Glad to contribute.
Could we get a daily tally like Chip In does? That could motivate people to assist in breaking the $200 daily total.
Shouldn’t be hard for today’s total to be broken. Donation made! Thanks for doing something great for the kids, Farva.
I got no money but would get all the models if I did
How much is each model?
The large model is $199.95 plus shipping. $50.00 donated to OCS.
The miniature model is $99.95 plus shipping. $25.00 donated to OCS.
Each model is 100% customized and personalized with AF Blues squadron markings.
We are also offering ANY custom aircraft or helicopter model of any type, any variant, from any squadron or any country…for the same price.
Each model purchased includes an Ops Christmas Stocking coin.
Thanks!
Trap
Methinks you’re gonna get some purdy hefty amounts Farva. Hell I can’t stand fighter pilots and I’m thinkin of getin a 809th F-22… oh and there is no BadgerOps…
I’ll definitely be getting a coin.
Oh the pinup made the day for sure. A desktop sized version in the works?
Word.
Just order my F-22 model from esnacko!!
Hey, I think I missed the info if you put it up previously: Where does the money go to? I want to pimp this charity out to my friends and family, but whenever I get asked, I want a better answer than “Uhm… you know, charity. Good causes and stuff.”
This money actually goes to a charity run by the 125th Fighter Wing, Florida ANG, chapel, called Operation Christmas Stocking. It helps kids who have been removed from abusive or otherwise hurtful homes. It’s been going on for about 30 years now, but this is the second year AFBlues has teamed up with eSnacko to help out.
Thanks!
Thanks Farva, I’ll pass the word along.
FARVA, just curious when the coins will be sent out. My address on PayPal is only good till mid February…then I PCS.
Just curious.
We will start shipping the coins in about 4 weeks.
Cheers,
Trap
You can always have them ship the coin to me and I’ll get it to ya… eventually.
Was it announced who donated the most on the first day? Or at least how much it was?
I know this is a bit late, but I’ll put it here and check back…
I’m a patch guy, any idea on Badger Ops patches (that probably don’t exist) or 816th ASS Patches? I know I’ve asked before but I’m pretty sure it got wiped in the last hack.
Um, truth be told, 816th ASS patches exist. However, shipping from over here is such a pain in the ass I haven’t made them available to the public yet.
Ah, dang, I guess it’s not as easy as dropping them in an envelope when it’s international huh? well, if you do make them publicly available or figure it out, I’ll be the first in.
