I’m deployed – it’s a bit of a struggle to get five strips a week done, and I’m still trying to finalize a few new member’s strips. I’ll do the pinups as I get time, but I’m also trying to get the calendar done.
I dig the white board… and the Maj. Ed Danes reference in the title. Going to be interesting to see what he’s going to do with that webcam. By using Maj. Dane’s techniques, I see them seeing more Barbie than Lana. But, that’s just what the universe told me. I could be wrong.
Seeing more Barbie would seem to be the plan, Monday’s strip in mind, however, the fecund imagination of a cartoonist leaves me pondering if the plan goeth awry and green birdie with a penchant for an equator between the hemispheres (STS) perches himself before it.
Ahhh that white board… to the day one instructor PO’ed a female student at the yard and she presented a lengthy counter argument on the white board in the classroom only, for all to discover that she used a Sharpie, not a dry earase marker. Same instructor was found within the next year stay-tied into the overhead by the ELT trainees.
Shifting into antoher code led to the active duty students reaction on their boat. I think, though I’ve no confirmation, that he shifted into some technical support rather than teaching.
He cast a gauntlet down to me once with a prepped pipe sample to go ahead and use the manual cutting tool to cut it in two. Another priceless look when I gave him two pieces of pipe and the tool several hours into the day’s class.
And people ask why I keep a large bottle of 90% isopropyl alcohol on my desk… I *do* use a Sharpie on a dry-erase board every so often, but it’s always to write something I don’t want erased.
What’s the IP address of him PC. Maybe I can connect to it…. 8-), oh, 1st.
Him PC? jeeez, guess my fingers got nervous…….
Now this could be an interesting Members Section strip, STS…
*Note the above George, is not the RealGeorgeW
With that said…. How’s that flak vest pinup coming, so to speak.

AH, you must also be familiar with the great Maj. Danes and his techniques. I agree with your assessment.
Further vision shows me that this will make for several very funny comics!
Yeah, i see a members only strip (sts). Now, who want to buy me a membership as a retirement present?
Need to write that on my female dorm managers white board, except she thinks its march all year…
Ha!
anybody else having problems getting into the forums? its saying contact the sites administrator.
It’s down for me as well.
That makes three of us.
4. It was having problems yesterday too.
Sneaky, sneaky…I like!! Hopefully Barbie will never catch on

I’m guessing said instructor did not stay an instructor after that? Sort of screws up your classroom control and all that.

If you write over the top of the permanent marker with a dry erase marker it will wipe clean
Well, he wound up using some acetone and way too many shop towels to remove the list… it helps, if you used a permanent marker to not let it dry.
The look on his face when the eraser didn’t remove the list was, as they say, priceless.
I love the Web Cam reference!
You have to love those dirty perverted Airman……
I like how last week’s AirForceToons strip about “Mustache March” led to whiteboard message in today’s strip.
Good times
