To those who have given their lives for this country, Thank you. You will never be forgotten. R.I.P. Jonathon A.V. Yelner APR 2008.
I got a chance to see WWII POW pilots fly the missing man formation over Randolph AFB, a few months ago and it’s always an amazing thing to see
Shawn, Your posting reads, “To those who have given their LIES for this country,” (Capitalized Emphasis added). Please correct this to what I am sure that you mean, that is LIVES, not LIES. I shall forever rember them especially Cpt Cory Jenkins, KIA Afghanistan, 25 August 2009.
Jim, I have read it over many times and never did it say lies, remember to check your own spelling before you try to correct others as RSKy has already pointed out…
I hit the Box D Blues link on that you have on this page under “Other Military Webcomics.” That page takes you to the Box D archives and the last link is for comic #102, which was last week’s.
Thank you…. When my grandfather died, who served in combat for three wars with distinction (From the Dolittle raid to Linebacker II), I had called his old squadron and wing to see if we could get a representive from the squadron. The wing commander pulled some strings I guess, because we got a fly over of 22s during the funeral. The pilot who pulled up did it right over the grave and made that plane scream. Was very touching.
Years ago I was at an airshow and they did the “Missing Man” formation, the little girl next to me said “Do they ever find him?” The old man next to her in a wheel chair said “They found me honey.”
Hope springs eternal….
Farva, please consider (when you return from deployment), getting this and/or the Box-D strip made into lithographs. Great fundraiser idea (esp autogrpahed). Just a thought.
Great strip dude.
Awesome use of perspective.

Please correct this to prevent yourself from looking like more of a dick than you probably are.
And I remember PFC Marc Paul Decoteau Jan 29 2010,

I fixed it. Typos happen, and it’s never fun to be ridiculed in front of everyone, as I definitely know. Y’all should probably let this go.
Thanks Farva.

Thank you for the beautiful tribute.
This strip is nice but your Box D Blues strip really takes the cake.
Here is the link to the Box D strip since they did not put it on the web page http://www.mildenhall.af.mil/shared/media/photodb/photos/110527-F-UA873-001.jpg
Thanks for posting the link, but I see it on the Mildenhall site.

Ah, ok. Yeah, not sure why they did it like that.
I absolutely love them both! Beautiful tribute.
Amen.

On the mark again, BRAVO ZULU Farva!
