This is WAAAAY off topic, but you and your Air Force buddies here have always seemed like friends to us Army types who ghosted here. So, I thought I’d share the good news with you guys: NEWS FLASH:THE ARMY HAS FINALLY MADE WEARING THE FRIGGIN’ BERET OPTIONAL WITH THE ACUs!!!
Here’s the quote I registered with the Army Facebook page about this monumentous event:
We all watched Air Force General Merrill McPeak screw with the Air Force uniform in the early 1990′s (and reversed as soon as that fool retired) and our own General Eric Shinseki forcing the beret on all Sol…diers (Remember, Shinseki was a Clinton selection. While it is stated that Shinseki forced wear of the beret for recruiting purposes, many feel it was to honor Monica).
Seeing those fools, I have come up with a thought:
Generals in wartime change history. Generals in peacetime… change the uniform.
Celebrate with your Army buddies! Come on!! Laugh with me!!
Farva, you definitely need to design a morale patch that incorporates Jim’s thought!
