Sorry, I can’t resist. Anyone who plays Angry Birds knows that if you put a bomb directly on top of a block of concrete, chances are it’ll break the block but the pig won’t be completely destroyed unless it’s the black bird and it goes straight through. The trick is knowing where to hit that will bring the whole structure down on top of the little porker.
Or…
This is such a powerful missile that as long as it hits anywhere in the vicinity of the pig, the mission will be successful.
Take your pick, but I’m claiming this one as a win.
OR…
it’s an excercise and magic EET missle glances off the building and lands near the structure and 15 minutes from now a par sweep will find the uxo forcing the ‘little porker’ to evacuate to the secondary location in mopp 4 where he will either suffocate to death or die of boredom due to lack of youtube/wootoffs to occupy his time.

Great strip today Farva. I know a few people in my squadron that would love this one including my squadron commander. He is addicted to that game. On a side note. Is there any plans to do a strip for the people of Minot, ND and what they are all going through right now with the flooding? Just an idea.
Right now, just a bunch of brown swirling water is about all that’s left of the town. The Army NG has been a tremendous help up here and its awesome to see the volunteer forces. In fact, we have over 12000 folks displaced (1k of those are military families), but less than 500 in shelters. Southern hospitality aint got nothin on us northern folks!
Well, up until right now I hadn’t planned on it because I hadn’t heard anything about it. I’ll certainly see what I can do.
There’s not much to do for a strip. The town is flooded but no lives have been lost. I wouldnt expect one; not trying to be insensitive, but if you did one for every natural disaster, you’d average about 6-7 a year just for Minot. We deal with it and press on.
C5, thanks for noting our situation up here. We’ve actually been working this flood issue for three weeks now, but just recently has it recieved national news media attention. But see we dont complain, we just dig our heels in and take Mother Nature by the horns. =)
Yeah I know it has been going on for a while now. I was stationed there from 2003 to 2008 working in the missile field. I have friends up there and I have been watching the news about it almost every day. Wish I could be up there helping out with the evacuations and sandbagging.
I know no one has lost their lives but something simple like a that to let the good people up there know that others in their AF family are thinking about them and hoping they stay safe seems warranted in this situation.

Really? The last time a Reaper was featured in the strip was in August 2008, but the Predator has made six appearances since then. Surely it’s time for some reaping, so to speak.
What about a C-5? They have never been in the strip.

But the upward “V” tail tell us its a Reaper, and a Reaper CAN carry a GBU. So either way.
