For those who haven’t already seen the link in the AFBlues Facebook group, you can now pre-order your copy of The Best of Military Cartoons: Volume 1 here. The book features two sections of my comics – AFBlues and Box D Blues, along with some great examples of work from a few of my fellow military cartoonists.
If you don’t want to order it online, keep a lookout at your local exchange store, as it’s supposed to be hitting their shelves before too long. I’ll save my snide comments for another day. However, if you do want to buy one online, be sure to use the link above, as it’s unique to this site.

The 1 September date mentioned on the product page is a “worst case scenario” date. It may take that long, but we will likely ship them out a little earlier.
They will definitely go out the day we get them in from the manufacturer or the next day at the very latest.

Farva, where you’re based in England, how close are you to the Great Ash Field?
Black Optimus, if you mean Gt Ashfield near Badwell Ash, Farva is pretty close (though he may not have heard of it).
I used to live there back in the days I lived “at home” with parents, and I work with Farva. I know exactly where that village is, and it’s not far at all.
If, however, you mean another Gt Ashfield somwhere else in England, then sorry for bursting your bubble!
It’s the WWII 8th Air Force Air Field…my dad flew his B-17 out of there.

I just reread your post and you said ‘the Great Ash field”, so if I got it completely wrong and you’re talking about something completely different, then I apologize for my ignorance!
There is an old airfield there, so perhaps it is the same place after all
