Originally I was going to have Palpatine giving Vader a CRO (change of rating official) form to get signed by Obi-Wan, but I just knew someone would point out that even though he still called him “master”, Anakin was no longer Obi-Wan’s apprentice at this point.
Part of me is ashamed I know that, but not ashamed enough to keep me from admitting it publicly here.
Hey folks, I want to do another plug for the Best of Military Cartoons! Volume 1 book, available now online by clicking here or soon to be on Exchange shelves. I’ve had the opportunity now to hold one in my hand (STS) and this thing is great! Six cartoonists, seven different comics (two sections by me, hehe) and a whole lotta hilarity. Check it out!

Got mine the other day, great day by al you guys
Great job by all yo guys. I hate ipads
Love it. Always really did enjoy the Star Wars parodies on here..
A source tells me Farva’s work in on AFTimes this week?
I saw the cover today and it looks quite a bit like DB from the Box D Blues.
Got the book, reading Box D Blues at the moment…
question on the book, is it new work, or “best of”?
Best of. The book is called “Best of Military Cartoons! Volume 1″
I have it in my hand (STS), and it’s mostly stuff I recognize… still love it regardless!
Knowing random facts about the galaxy far, far away is nothing to be ashamed of. It is, after all, the greatest septology(?) ever…
Even though Anakin wasn’t Obi-wan’s apprentice any more, everyone has a supervisor, so he probably was still his rater.
I wonder if he had trouble justifying the referral for turning to the dark side and killing everyone?
@Mud Puppy, there’s six movies, so I think that’s a Hexology (although I’d prefer a “sexology” myself…)
yeah after I posted I thought about it and I think “Sept” is the prefix for 7…I would have corrected myself, but I figured I was already power nerding it up with the original response and didn’t want to dig a deeper hole…
“Sept-” could still be accurate. Technically there are seven movies, if you count the Clone Wars animated one, but personally I’m gonna stick with six.
And two Ewok movies…
You would bring those up.
Of course once the list is done he’ll just be instructed to throw it away.
So, diverging from topic, gonna show the Hurricane Hunters some love soon? Ferret asks as Irene is within 300nm of his bunker…
As my Grandfather would say… at least we don’t have to fly so far.
He loved HH duty. He also served 3 wars, did thirty years, and was CCM to Lemay – which should of had at least a Silver Star according to Grandpa. Otherwords, he liked punishment.
While I am thinking on it… is move from Jedi Knight to Sith Lord a rating or job code change?
I’d say just a PCS w/ PCA. But there is probably a pretty extensive 797 waiting on his arrival at his new duty station.
Coulda just had him sign a backdated CRO! God knows I did plenty of those.
I would respond with “The Air Force has neither of those” but it’s unclear what branch of military Anakin would be considered part of. He can command fleets of starships (Navy), legions of ground troops (Army), and flies a fighter in command of a squadron (Air Force, or Naval Aviation if you want to quibble).
So what exactly is he to begin with?
He is quite obviously a Marine who has troop transports (C-130) and Landing craft (EFV) at his disposal. As for the starships, Those are an added responsibility due to the high nature of his B.A.ness
For any further guidance please reference the Marine Expeditionary Unit more lovingly referred to as the MEU.
Farva, This is Awesome! I had to share this with some of the guys at work. Glad you made it back home.
Don’t forget the CRO too as well.
Gotta read my comments under the comic…
Hey Farva, not sure if you realize this, but the “small” image that shows up when you click the calendar date link is different than the big picture….I hope you know what I’m talking about…I can’t figure out a better way to describe that! lol
The little one has Anikin saying “Yes, Master.”
Yeah, this comic gave me such a fit trying to upload it I’m not even going to bother trying to fix that.
