Seriously, I couldn’t believe when I read that Jurassic Park was be re-released into UK theaters, but it turns out it’s true, and it’s today. I now understand the intelligent design behind me being stationed here at this particular point in history.
Kaitie didn’t understand when I told her this was a bigger deal than the Olympics coming here next year, but let’s be honest – one happens every four years, and one happens apparently every 18 years.

Thanks, Austin. You’ve just reminded me how old I am and how fast time passes! Douche! I saw Jurassic Park at the Peterborough Cinema (near the Queens Gate Mall, if memory serves) as a first frakin’ run in ’93. We got into the theater just after they found the amber (missed the whole velociraptor crate scene at the very begining) because my jackass mates needed their frakin’ sweet popcorn! It’s still one of my all time favourite films! Enjoy these moments, my friend.
Had to register just to say…the Olympics have been happening since those ancient Greek dudes. Sure there was a slight break but they’ve been an event for thousands of years. They’re old and done. Jurassic Park has been released to theaters twice in human history.

I was a bit surprised to see Jurassic Park back in the cinemas, when it originally came out I saw it on my 8th birthday (yeah, feeling my age abit).
That said, they re-released Back To The Future not that long ago.

The movie will make money and that money will be given freely by those who care, the Olympics will lose an obscene amount of money and be regarding as a success by those who got to have thier a*seholes licked to make it happen.
