Ok folks, I’m officially back to work from my extended whirlwind vacation. On my first day back I had to knock out my PT test – fun stuff.

How’d you do?
Career best, but I’m keeping the score between me and those who need to know. I’ll tell you I will be testing again in April, but it wasn’t much of a stretch for me to get an excellent. Next time.

AF PT Test? Do those exist? I’ve heard rumors, but all I’ve ever witnessed was some old guy pedaling a stationary bike…
BTW…Retired Army, Wife is AF…I do know about your PT test, just bustin your chops…

Small world. I too PT tested today.
I retired in 1990 and not a moment too soon… Tony McPeak was a fitness nut who started the USAF down this path and the USAF has deprived itself of many fine engineers and scientists who could not meet the “32 inch waist” and “body fat like me (none)” goals nce they hit middle age.
I expect you achieved excellent. Well, as long as you pass it’s all good.
I had to bust out my PT test while on R&R, since I deployed shortly before I dropped dead. I also scored my career best. Sure is a good feeling! Very probably the last test I will have to take. Always aspired to scoring 100, but running 1.5 miles in less than 9:48???? YGBFKM!

Well Barbie did fight someone before but can’t talk about, maybe isntead of “What’s your point?” he shouldn’t responded “That’s classified.” And his brother just broke a rather big rule, don’t mock someone you’ve just given a loaded gun.
Isn’t he a UAV killing ace? I thought he shot down at least two? I can’t remember when the strips were.
Strictly speaking, I think he’s only taken down one, and that one is officially classified as an accident.
Barbie’s brother is probably lucky it was not a pellet gun and that Barbie had enough not to shoot him. Me, I would have bounce a BB off my bro’s bum. Pleading the fifth on the number of times that has happened to him….

also dont mock anyone you’ve given: explosives, control of your money or estate, or the guy who has to watch your back, STS, by packing parachutes etc.

Um lets see all of 4/5 people. Now what I wanna know is 1) Where did Cpt. Dhart go? and 2) If Coffman does so much for Papa Flight, how does the Lt. Col. keep the seceret from him?
I think I’m qualified to answer these. 1) She’s still around – just hasn’t had a spot in the story lately, and 2) He doesn’t – Coffman knows. That’ll actually become plainly clear later.
I’m built more like a truck than a sports car and failed my last PT test before retiring in 2005. When the Lt called with a retake date, I told him I don’t think I’ll be able to make it. He wanted to know my reason… “Sir, I’ll be on terminal leave and it will be difficult to fit it in my schedule”.
“Well, let me take you off my list”.
